Canneberges Québec Fresh Cranberry Pie

INGREDIENTS

Pie dough for one rolled-out pastry.
500 ml (2 cups) Canneberges Québec cranberries (to taste).
180 ml (3/4 cup) white sugar or brown sugar.
60 ml (1/4 cup) water.
1 egg, beaten.
15 ml (1 tbsp.) melted butter.

STEPS

Preheat oven to 350oF.
Place cranberries and sugar in a casserole.
Add water and bring to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Add egg and butter and mix thoroughly.
Pour cranberry mix into rolled-out pastry.
Bake 35-40 minutes.
